From Street To Stage
Sam King combines offbeat comedy with mind-bending magic to deliver sharp, surprising performances that leave audiences laughing and amazed. Starting his career on the streets of Adelaide, Sam honed his craft captivating crowds with his quick wit, absurd humor, and clever tricks. He soon went on to perform at some of the world’s biggest festivals, including the Linz Pflasterspektakel, Edinburgh, Adelaide and Perth Fringe.
When not on the road, Sam performs weekly at the Adelaide Magic Theatre, bringing audiences up close to his unique, intimate style of magic. His journey has taken him to over 16 countries, earning accolades like Australian Street Entertainment Champion (2014) and ‘Best Magic’ at the Adelaide Fringe (2024) for his hit show Tricks and MORE Stuff.
Whether at festivals, theaters, or corporate events, Sam's shows are distinguished by their absurd humor, sharp storytelling, and creative illusions. In 2024, he was a featured performer in The Purple Rabbit, a Strut & Fret production staged aboard a cruise ship, celebrated for its boundary-pushing mix of mischief, magic, and mind-blowing mayhem.
